There's a reason why Jack Sparrow called it home. The Caribbean is RAD. With warm waters, beautiful sunsets, fun locals, and mellow vibes, it's the perfect place to spend spring break.
Pods of dolphins live off Utila's coast, and people often swim with them in between dives. Keep your fingers crossed for turtles, rays, and if you're really lucky, maybe even a whale shark.
The Bay Islands are group of Caribbean islands owned by Honduras with their own distinct culture. They speak Bay Islands English, and the vibe is Caribbean. Roatan is famous for it's beautiful beaches and warm waters. Utila is a haven for divers and backpackers. Safe, beautiful, and fun, they're paradise.
Arrive at RTB International Airport in Roatan where you will be picked up by RAD and taken to the hotel. The fun starts now.
Welcome to the Caribbean. Enjoy the sun and the sand as you meet the rest of the group and adjust to island time . We will take the ferry to Utila tomorrow.
We made it to Utila. Let's go diving. Beginners will take their first breaths underwater. Experienced divers will do their thing. Let's blow some bubbles.
When not underwater, RAD will take the group around the island to explore. Highlights may include Pumpkin Hill, Neptune's, and a secret beach.
Take the ferry back to Roatan for your final night in the Bay Islands. Celebrate the end of the trip with a final feast.
After breakfast, RAD will provide transportation to RTB for your flight home. Don't worry, there are more real adventure destinations out there.
Lodging will be clean, safe, and a few minute's walk from the beach. Expect to be staying in hotels and hostels and to share a room. You will have access to warm water showers, clean drinking water, and Wi-Fi. In Utila there will be a pool.
For $210, there is the possibility to upgrade to a private room in Utila depending on availability. It's not bad to be boujee.
